We are currently taking applications for a Japanese speaking Recruitment Manager job in Singapore.

As the business reaches into different parts of the world, particularly countries with multiple languages such as Singapore, it’s important that we have multilingual staff members to maintain our high level of service to clients and candidates. We are therefore looking for a Japanese Speaking Recruitment Manager to join our Singapore office. Please note that Japanese language skills are essential for this role as it involves working with Japanese-speaking clients and candidates on the Japanese market.

Expectations for Recruitment Managers in our business:

  • Four years of experience in a direct sales or 360 recruitment environment, preferably in a management role.
  • The ability to lead a team of consultants, coaching them and learning how to achieve better results.
  • We expect our Recruitment Managers to lead by example by completing at least one deal in a monthly period, and therefore strong sales skills are essential to thrive in this role.
  • Our Recruitment Managers regularly attend industry knowledge events in an effort to generate leads and learn more about our specialist areas. Keeping in touch with what’s going on in the sector is imperative to offering a good service.

As a Japanese speaking Recruitment Manager it is essential that you are fluent in the language, as you will often be engaging with Japanese speaking candidates. Given the technical and somewhat complex nature of the niche IT platforms we recruit for, exceptional Japanese language skills are necessary to communicate with clients and candidates with no hesitation or confusion.

Our Recruitment Managers must drive team members by setting challenging targets. If individuals fail to meet targets then Managers are empowered to impose an action plan, with an emphasis on long-term skills development.

Recruitment Managers are also expected to be experts in the recruitment industry, how it works in practice and how we can formulate new lead generation strategies.
