What does the Frank Recruitment Group interview process look like?

What you can expect from us

We know that the best candidates don’t hang around, so we like to keep things simple and straightforward.

Whether you’ve applied through our website, a job board, a social media link, or have been referred by a friend or invited to apply by one of our TA team, our hiring process is designed to be simple and fast. Here’s the process you’ll go through when you apply for a role at Frank Recruitment Group.

Our typical hiring process

Junior/Mid-Level

After you’ve applied, your resume will be screened by our TA team. If we seem like a good match for each other, we will be in touch to discuss your application

We’ll tell you everything you need to know!

You’ll then connect with a member of our TA team for a video call where they’ll tell you more about the role and discuss what you can bring to the team in a competency-based interview

And maybe even a bit of roleplay!

A final interview will take place with the Hiring Manager—and if all goes well, we’ll issue you an offer!

Senior-Level

When we have your application, we’ll be in touch to discuss your fit for the role. If all is good, we’ll get you moving through the process

We are here to support you through every step of the way

You’ll discover more about the role in your first behavior-based interview, where we will also find out more about you and see if this is the right move for you and us

Your final interview will be with one of our senior management team and often includes our HR team. Following this, if everything is right, we’ll get you an offer as quickly as possible to get you started in your next career journey

Hints and tips for your resume

Ready to join us on our incredible journey? Here are a few quick tips from our Talent Acquisition team on how to put your best foot forward when you submit your resume.

When you start your journey as an expert recruiter, you’ll be seeing a lot of resumes.

Seriously, a lot!

You’ll learn quickly what makes a good resume and how to scour a candidate’s work history for the most important points. So why not get a head-start by revamping your own resume?

Use plenty of bullet points to highlight your accomplishments in a digestible way.

And include only what’s relevant to the role; we don’t need your entire life story. But remember that many of the skills that make an outstanding recruiter are transferable, so if you’ve developed a skill in another role or industry that you think will be useful, add it in!

Data is a great way of showing off your past achievements. Telling us about your successes is great, but being able to back statements up with numbers or other statistics is the best way to share your wins.

Go ahead, toot your own horn!

If you’ve been in a sales role before, you could include things like previous deals you’ve done, your closing rate, average sales cycle length, or notable quota achievements.

Don’t forget about your soft skills either. Soft skills are super important in a sales role. Even if you haven’t previously worked in sales, outlining the soft skills you have that will make you a terrific fit for a recruitment role will go a long way.

One great way to show how you’d be a good fit is to check out our values and tell us how you’ve personified them in the past!

To be a great recruiter, you need to be a great communicator. You’ll be engaging with candidates, clients, and business stakeholders, so we’ll want to see that you’re able to get your point across clearly and appropriately. Use your resume to showcase your ability to highlight the most relevant information in a professional way.

How to prepare for an interview with us

You smashed it with your resume. Now our friendly Talent Acquisition team wants to meet you and see where you might fit in! Here are a few pointers on making a great impression at interview.

We know, we know—it’s corny but it’s true!

Our people are a huge part of what makes Frank Recruitment Group a great place to be. Our employees come from all walks of life and each person brings a unique set of skills, experiences, and outlooks to the table, and we want to hear about yours. We believe it’s important that you can bring your whole, authentic self to work, so show us who you are.

Recruitment is a sales role. You’re selling the skills and potential of incredible candidates to businesses that need their talents. So make sure you show off your sales prowess at your interview by selling yourself. Be confident, keen, and let your interview know exactly why you’re the best person for the job.

Nothing alleviates pre-interview jitters like knowing you’ve done your homework. Before your interview, think about some past situations where you’ve overcome an obstacle, gone above and beyond, or achieved something that makes you especially proud.

Use the STAR method (that’s Situation, Task, Action, Result) to help you structure your answers and create a compelling narrative around your biggest triumphs.

Tell us some stories where you’re the hero

Do some research into us too, and share why Frank Recruitment Group is the place for you. If there’s a particular technology you’re passionate about or a certain brand you’re interested in joining, let us know! We’re all about enthusiasm.
